Form is the subject
|
It is music for the eye, taken from ordinary life and orchestrated through photography. The significance of each image lies within itself, connected by only a loose reference to reality.
My camera is a tool for selecting and simplifying views from a visually chaotic environment, and allows me to explore meaning in what I see. Processing an image is as essential to the creative process as the initial capture. It requires thoughtful selection, rejection, and editing to bring it close to my personal vision. I hope that your internal artist will be stirred by these images, and with that the creative process will be complete. The creative act is not performed by the artist alone; the spectator brings the work in contact with the external world by deciphering and interpreting its inner qualifications and thus adds his contribution to the creative act.
